If you’re celebrating the arrival of a little princess, you can’t go wrong with this pretty stationery set, in traditional pink and white. Confetti has everything you need to create a cutie-pie theme, including cards and inserts, ribbons, feathers, rabbit and butterfly motifs. So, follow our step-by-step guide to make this lovely girlie set.

Butterfly Box

Assemble a favour box and tie up using spotty ribbon, with a bow on the top. Remove the fluff from the end of a feather, and push the spine plus the wire of a butterfly into the knot, trimming away the excess.

Snip an 'It's a Girl' ribbon, cut the ends at angles, then position underneath the spotty ribbon as it crosses on the box lid. Complete by sticking a diamanté heart beneath the wording.

Butterfly Card

Type out the announcement on a computer and create a border around the wording. Print and cut out, then stick towards the base of a white insert. Strip away some of a feather from the base. Tie pink spotty ribbon in a bow, then push the exposed spine into the knot.

Repeat with the wire of a pink butterfly, trimming away any excess and pulling the bow tight. Trim the tails of the ribbon at an angle, then fix to the top left-hand side of the announcement with a glue dot. Stick a pink diamanté heart to the centre base.

Make two slits in the centre front of a pink outer, 2.5cm away from the opening edges and 1cm deep. Snip a length of ‘It’s a Girl’ ribbon at the end of the wording, leave the next set, then trim at the beginning of the third phrase. Push one end into the lefthand cut and secure on the inside with tape.

Place the announcement inside the outer and tie spotty ribbon around it in a bow. Push a butterfly and feather into the knot as before. Pass the other end of the ‘It’s a Girl’ ribbon into the right-hand slit and seal by adhering a diamanté heart with a glue dot at the beginning and end of the text.

Rabbit Card

Type the announcement on a computer and create a border around the wording. Print and cut out, then fix towards the base of a white insert. Cut a length of ‘It’s a Girl’ ribbon, then thread it through a rabbit, securing the ends with glue dots. Adhere to the top of the announcement card.

Cut two slits in the centre front of the pink outer, 1cm away from the opening edges and 1cm deep. Push the end of ‘It’s a Girl’ ribbon into one of the cuts and secure on the wrong side with tape. Pass around the back of the card, then push the other end through the remaining slit and tape in place. Add the announcement inside the outer, then pass another length of ribbon through both slits. Tie in a bow to close.

Bunny Box

Make up a box and tie it up with ‘It’s a Girl’ ribbon. Attach two rabbits together at the ears and the top of the bodies. Place glue dots on the inside paws, then fix to the box lid.

Pink Envelope

Place the invitation inside a lilly pad jacket and close. Tie a length of ribbon around the envelope as you would a parcel. Thread a rabbit onto one end, then adhere the ends of the ribbon together with a glue dot. Slide the rabbit up to cover the join.
