Dingbats are computer fonts that have symbols or shapes in place of the usual letters and numbers. We've selected pretty snowflake-style motifs from one particular set to decorate these fabulous patterned cards.
Best Wishes
Take a white rectangular blank and trim nettie cookies patterned paper slightly smaller than the card front. Round the edges and fix to the greeting with double-sided tape.
Using a computer print 'best wishes' in LD Phat Font onto green bazzill card. Cut into a rectangle and round the edges. Choose a 'starburst' character from a dingbat set called '60’s Chic', print onto coral bazzill card and snip into a square.
Round off the corners of the coral panel and adhere a green crystal to the centre. Colour the edges of both printed pieces with black ink. Glue the green rectangle to the blank and fix the coral square on top with sticky pads.
Happy Birthday
Trim nettie cookies patterned paper slightly smaller than the front of a square white card blank. Round the edges and fix to the greeting with double-sided tape.
Print 'Happy Birthday' in the LD Phat font and a starburst dingbat symbol onto coral bazzill card. Trim to fit the width of the card and shade the edges with black ink.
Snip white bazzill card, slightly deeper than the coral card and fix both to the front of the card as shown. Embellish the starburst with a green crystal.
