Store away seed labels and plant ties in an attractive painted box
You will need...
Wooden box with lid
Paint, acrylic: lilac, white, green; dimensional
Tissue
Paintbrushes
Bits ‘n’ Bobs
1. Remove the lid from a wooden box, then apply a couple of coats of lilac paint and leave to dry. Draw in the purple flower patterns around the sides and top.
2. Paint the large petals in lavender. Lightly dab off some of the colour with a clean tissue to create a distressed look. Add purple semi-circles in between each petal, arranging them around a yellow centre.
3.Add fine green lines and a stem. Trace off the lettering from the pattern pages and work in a darker purple for contrast. Add dots with dimensional paint at the end of the lines and in the centre of each purple semi-circle.

Scan the flower motif into a computer, then print it out in various sizes. Trim to size and use to decorate the box decoupage-style. Varnish to seal
