YES - EVERYONE TRY TO POST A PIC!  That is part of the charm of the swaps for me - to be able to see what everyone gets! 

I posted mine to Karen last week - so should arrive near the end of this week altho sometimes they impress me with how fast stuff goes between us!

Had lots of fun making it - and I want to show some of the young kids around here how to do one because I think they would really like it!

Now I decided to look for some on the internet when I was trying to make mine - for ideas - and I found another type of button fairy called ” POCKET BUTTON FAIRY ” 

Maybe we can try one of those down the road?

Here - have a look from ‘Spirit’s Journey Designs ‘:... she makes fairies with button skirts and puts them into separate pockets which has a window, and the window has been made to resemble a jar so when the button fairy is in her pocket, the jar appears ‘full of buttons’!  Very pretty.

Well I am sure everyone is going to start posting their pictures soon - as the post man starts to deliver our ‘fairies’!

I also - and I am not a big fairy fanatic - but I am considering putting the cutest fairy door beside the front door and maybe one inside the hallway!  They are the cutest things these fairy doors!  Then I can pretend to the children who come over, that I am leaving little things by the fairy door for them to have….should be fun!

Maybe without a deadline about when to ‘send them “by”’ it gets loosely defined? And Time has a way of sweeping by us!

... but I can understand where it gets annoying at times…in the 3 of the ones I have been in, at any rate, I have no idea where some or all of my work has ended up. To this day, I hve no idea where my butterfly ATCs are, and even my last one, I know of where only 1 of the 2 Black & Whites made it to. Its odd.

So, maybe there should be a post about swap ettiquette?

I received mine ages ago and posted a pic on the appreciation site, I also sent mine and got a thank you for it.

Mine will be going out in the post tomorrow!  I’ve really struggled this time I’ve made about 3 because I’ve not been happy with them!!

I could be wrong,but I hought you also had experienced some troubles with swaps getting lost, and you’d had bad luck twice - can’t recall whether it was the 6x6 or ATCs? Or am I crazy?

Oh, I know I’m not the only one - I have seen some sites where they have ‘ratings’ for their members - and you need a minimum rating to be able to take part in swaps, etc. I guess they must of had people not living up to their commitments or something…..anyways, I don’t want to get too far off the topic….cause this is the ‘fairy’ topic…..

Anyone see my idea above about the pocket button fairy? 

I would organize it but we all know that’s futile being where I am! [I want to be a Hostess, darn!]  Just thought it would be a nice addition to the collection!

Yes I saw it Bev it looks lovely hun.
Don’t think I will be doing any more fairy swaps,
I would rather keep up with ATC’s i enjoy them more.
You could always do some sort of swap put a poll up
to see if there is any interest, the ATC’s are all taken up
for this year though. xx

In-ter-es-ting dahlinks! Ha ha ......I might actually be the opposite as of late, as I find the button fairy different for now and I am trying to cut back with my swaps in general….I have spent waaaaay too much on postage lately…

But for the button fairies, I could be persuaded to do more!

yes Freehartz I didn’t receive my first one but I did receive this one!!!!.  I also got one ATC mangled and one missing

I received my buttonfairy today and she’s lovely. Thanks Heather,Will post picture soon as i find the camera!
