Hello,

I know how you feel as exactly the same happened to me too!

What you need to do is from the knit stitch bring the wool forward between the needles so it is at the front for the purl stitch and then the wool back through the middle of the needles to the back for the knit stitch...

I think this may explain it better...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1VuJ_2oHFY

Good luck!

Keep going and practice makes perfect, try winding the wool around your finger and keeping a short length and just move your finger (index or middle) over the piece of knitting between the two needles, thats all there is to it.

Hope I've helped?!

Yeay so glad you are sorted!

As I said in my earlier post I had exactly the same problem and it drove me mad...I am now learning how to pick stitches up to join pieces together so I may have to find a video for that too! he he
