Well, I said I didn’t have any nesties when someone asked about what size and shapes to get, I thought I don’t need them, then I watched several demo’s on tv and thought Oh Dear I need those. I’ve got a wizard on the way and a set of scalloped squares and I can’t wait to have play. I still love my robo but for some things I think this will be much much quicker. What shapes do you all have and what do you use the most?

Oh lucky you Tracy, I’m a wee bit jealous you’re getting a wizard! though my cuttlebug seems pretty good with the nesties so far. I have some scalloped circles and some deckled rectangles, next on my list is some squares and any of the labels. I’ve only had them for about a month or two and am loving them, though i haven’t mastered the embossing yet in the bug. I might have to play around a bit more with the plates and blanks.

Enjoy them when they arrive!

xx

Enjoy your new toy when you get it.

I have got the QuicKutz Epic Six and use some nesties but mainly QuicKutz dies with it. There is not really a difference in the way the dies are made, so it’s always worth comparing both makes. I have got maily shapes that are trickier to cut out by hand like circles, scalloped shapes and tags.

I trying to get the scalloped and plain circles at the minute but I know where I can get them for 16.50 a set so might just have to buy them outright.

Oh I’m soooooooo disappinted, the wizard has arrived and it doesn’t work downer  I have been trying to use it for over two hours now following the instructions carefully, I have even watched the dvd that came with it in case I was doing something wrong, which I wasn’t and I have managed to cut one square. The handle seems to be broken. I’ve asked for a refund and am waiting for the seller to get back to me but I’m gutted.

Thanks Louise, I’ve received a reply from the seller now and she will accept the return, looking at the picture she posted and the machine the handle has been bent in transit which i think has damaged the rachet mechanisim, I will just have to get something else when I get my refund so I’m back on the hunt.
