Hi Teri,
welcome to the forum. I received a cricut expression for Christmas. I found starting off with something basic like cutting a shape the best way to learn. Go throuhgt the manual and just play with it. I keep a notepad next to mine with all the setting I used that worked so I know what settings to use for next time.

There are loads of videos on you tube as Pinkpuppy mentioned. The ones by Robyn aka the pink stamper are particularly easy to follow. I hope this helps for now. if you need to know anything else feel free to PM me and I will see if I can help.

xx

Hi Teri,
I too have an expression. Good advice from the ladies here & lots of helpful advice.
I found it easier to read the booklet then practise cutting out. It can be a bit scarey at first but once you’ve started there’ll be no stopping you.
Good luck & there’s always someone here to help if you get stuck.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I have cricut machine and it’s brilliant. I would suggest that you have a really good play. Try the basic shapes cut them different sizes
I only have two cartridges as they are soooo expensive but I certainly would not be without it. As far as making an ugly card there is no such thing. The main thing is to have fun with everything. Look forward to seeing what you make with your new gadget Joanne x
