Quick question

I’m trying to make a ring out of a metal button that has a shank on the back and just can’t figure out how to get it out. Would it be ok to attack it with a pair of wire cutters? It needs to be flat so I can glue it onto a ring. Hope that makes sense?? Any ideas?

Made this today with the help of my robo for the mum cut out, added a dangly heart to the ribbon
I love the ‘Morning Meadow papers .It is a huge A3 size
my 1st real card done with robo, the green paper is flocked and feels just gorgeous

Here is my attempt at Mothers day card for this year (well 2 the same).

Also added a picture of a simple card that I made for my mum’s birthday last month. Tried watercolour pencils but my card was wrong so just coloured in the images (drawn freehand so not that great lol)

Ok well they are not jewellery but they are sparklies for your feet!

I can tell I am feeling summery when I start hot fixing crystals on clean trainers he he I bulk bought these trainers last summer from a famous chain beginning with P for literally a couple of pounds and do you know they are sooo comfy, I have grey ones I wear all the time I have a pair of 5’s and 6’s left and I am going to make them up to sell!

I also swapped the laces for ribbon

My Mothers Day Card

The fun I had with this card was bliss! Really enjoyed making my Mums’ Mothers Day Card.

I used my last Glass painted topper of a Butterfly. I used a free template from a craft magazine and outlined and painted it with relief paint (silver) and then, painted the larger of the Butterfly White and the smaller of Fuschia glass paint. Bothe are adhered to each other and adhered onto the card with foam squares for dimension and I pushed up the wings to craete the fluttering off the card.

This card has been composed together using a wrapping paper bought from Spar, would you believe!, and have layered it 3 times sandwiched between white card, bordering the floral wrapping paper. A paper my um will love! I have then glued on paper flowers and centred one with a 2 tone paper rose, another withn a pearl and adhered on a paper rose on its own on the other side to balance it all out! And finished with beading on bead to the wire for the tail of the butterly and added on the message on the top left! I have then kind of made a easel card and backwords but, not as complicated and sewn a button on to withstand the card holding up. I ahve also, adhered the patterned paper onto the other side to write the message on and adhered a paper flower with paper rose to finish!

Here’s a few Easter cards I’ve made. An Easter Bunny decoupage, an embossed egg and then 3 from this months great LMC kit. Been testing out my new MS punch on a few of them as I don’t have many tools etc with me here at the moment since the fire.

Sarah! Stuart! Thanks very very very much for the most beautiful and very thoughtful anniversary card that you both very generously sent Paul & I to celebrate our special day yesterday. Also, many thanks for the scrummy Aero bar too which we shal indulge in when Paul is able to eat his chocolate again, gave it up for lent!
