A few cards from me

Hi Everyone,

I’m going into day surgery on Monday and as it’s kind of playing on my nerves, I thought I’d get stuck in and do some crafting to pass the time. I’ve had quite a productive morning and made all of these. The Mother’s Day one will be sent to my mum in May and the rest of them are just for my stock.

Hello everyone,

Here is my last minute mother’s day card, I know I am terrible!

It is made using a FAB stamped image from Nikbee…I love this, is it Hero Arts Nikki?

The papers are from imaginisce and the ribbon and cardstock are Stampin’ Up!

I just sat most of yesturday morning making this card for my Mum, i just took my time and added some glitter to the flowers and so on, i also made the butterfly with beads and wire.

St Patrick’s Day challenge- ends 18th March 2010

I know I have not had the time or inspiration to enter the challenges for a while now and I do want to offer you the chance to win some goodies from me setting a challenge. I have not decided the prizes yet as I will hope to visit Hobbycraft nearer to St Patricks day and will use some of my vouchers to buy goodies.

What I want is anything Irish, - Celtic symbols , green , St Patrick, leprechauns - I am sure you will come up with something

There will be 3 sections

Cardmaking
Jewellery making
Any other crafts

And there will be a winner & runner-up in each section.
Thanks to the lovely Paperkate for reminding me- I meant to say that you can put an entry into each challenge but only one per section.So if you make cards, and jewellery and sew/knit etc you had better get your skates on.

I am looking forward to having my DD help me choose the prizes in HC in Edinburgh when I go over.I will be returning from Scotland on St Patrick’s day so will choose the winners after the 18th.

Hello Everyone,

I joined this forum last year just before my marriage broke down.

I’ve had a tough year having to find a house for me and my girls, furnish it, keep working etc I lost my craft motivation and inspiration so haven’t been on for a while.

Last week I received a card and present for my birthday from a member on here which made me realise there are so many kind and supportive people on here, so I’m back!!

Looking forward to making new friends.
