Set in an elegant Georgian house in Islington, The Make Lounge has three spacious workshop areas that host events each evening and weekends too! Students can pick and choose from an effortlessly cool crafty menu with short courses ranging from 'Survival Sewing' to 'Knockout Knickers'! Mixed with wine and music, each offers a stylish, soul-nourishing way to relax at the end of the day.
Designer labels are showing more and more handcrafted lines in their recent catwalk collections and traditional crafts like sewing and embroidery are fast-becoming the fashion-forward way to relax! The Make Lounge not only offers a unique social environment and an irresistible crafting experience, but it manages to combine the capture the mood of a creative generation.
Workshops range from two to three hours in length and start at £30 a session, which includes all materials and refreshments as well as expert instruction. The Make Lounge also offers bespoke parties, hen nights, day events and corporate parties! There are also a number of opportunities where special crafty events can be held in homes or other venues across the country.
